Shillong, March 29: The Celebration of Holi has been affected like every festival due to the covid epidemic and it has been banned from playing Holi in public in many states including Meghalaya.
Despite this Holi color has not faded people much of their celebration mood and they celebrated the festival in their homes.
On this occasion, Meghalaya CRPF 67 Batallion, BSF Meghalaya Frontier Soldiers alongwith the rest of folks celebrated Holi with zest and fervour keeping in view of safety protocols in corona era.
The CRPF personnel 67 Batallion celebrated Holi inside their campus while BSF Soldier’s celebrated Holi at the Dawki border.
The Armed, Mohammad Yusuf ,CRPF 68 Batallion of the CRPF 67 Bn Second in Commandant , extended his greetings to citizens of country and conveyed his mesage that As we know that Holi is the festival of colours and mainly celebrated on the victory of good and evil.
Mr. Sourabh Rajput ,Deputy Commandant said that this year because of COVID they are celebrating Holi maintaining social distance but there should be not any distancing amongst our hearts. They should let go all kinds of evilness in them.
