The Christmas festival is celebrated by all nationalities, ages and religions. But amidst the bustle and preparation, the family and the presents, take a moment aside to reflect on the true reason for the holiday who is Jesus Christ.
Christmas is a time of spiritual reflection on the important foundations of the Christian faith. It is when Christians celebrate God’s greatest love to the world through the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christmas reminds us of what a gift Jesus is to the World, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”- 2 Corinthians 9:15.
“For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”- Isaiah 9:6.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life- John 3:16.
This year has been a tough year for all of us. The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled Nations and Governance and put a strain on human spirit. But it has also brought a blessing in disguise.
Families and friends are able to spend more time with each other. The importance of family and relationships were acknowledged. The trust in mankind and generosity were also witnessed in many selfless contributions.
