Shillong, Oct 27: The Combined annual training camp and Inter group Competition for NCC directorate, North East Region is being conducted at Umroi Cantonment starting tomorrow 28th October and will concluded on 04 November 2018, under aegis of NCC Group , Shillong.
The opening address was delivered by Brig P M Bali , Group Commander NCC Group HQ Shillong. Around 500 cadets from eight NCC NCC Gp HQs of all seven states of NE Region are participating in the inter group competition.
The camp is being conducted with the aim to develop spirit of comradeship, discipline, team spirit, leadership, character building self reliance among the cadets . Selected cadets will represent North Eastern Contingent at Republic Day camp at New Delhi.
The various competitions being conducted are Drill , firing , weapon handling , Guard of Honour , cultural , flag Areas etc.
