Mairang, May 29:The Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District has informed that the Directorate of Arts and Culture, Government of Meghalaya is creating a database of all information on Artists, Cultural Institutions, Cultural Organizations and Cultural Performers of the district for formal empanelment with the Department of Arts and Culture.
This will provide opportunities to the Folk and Tribal Cultural Troupes, Artists, Crafts person, etc to participate in the cultural festivals, workshops programme, etc organized in the State and other parts of the country.
Therefore, any interested persons or organizations may collect the application forms from the office of the Directorate of Arts and Culture, Shillong, or the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang. The last date for submission of forms is on the 31st May, 2023 during office hours.
