Shillong, Sept 23: The Federation of Khasi States, has taken a decision to write to Dr Jemino Mawthoh, General Secretary, United Democratic Party of Meghalaya, to seek the UDP party’s opinion and clarification on the recent statements that appeared in the madia.
The FKS said that the media has reported on the expression of one of the top UDP leader, from the FKS would like to know whether it was the official stand or a personal opinion of the UDP leader on the Instrument of Accession and Annexed Agreement of 17 August 1948.
In this regard a detailed letter is being sent on Monday 23rd September 2019 to the GS of the UDP, this was said by Mr John F Kharshiing adviser and spokesperson of the FKS in the press statement.
