The GoI changed the protocol for the second dose of vaccination from 12  to 16 weeks:Conrad

Shillong, May 19: The government of India has changed the protocol for the second dose of vaccination from 12  to 16 weeks said Mr Conrad K Sangma chief minister of Meghalaya.

The chief minister of Meghalaya informed that initially the second dose of vaccination is between 4-6 weeks but recently the protocol was changed from 12-16 weeks.

The chief minister urged the people of the state that those who are supposed to get the second dose of vaccination should not worry as the vaccination is available when their turn comes to get the second dose of vaccination.

The meeting today conveyed by the speaker will send a strong message to the people that when it comes to the life and death of the people all are united to work together for the welfare of the people.

The chief minister urged the people to follow the protocol issued from the government from time to time in containing the spread of the virus.
