Shillong, Sept 13: The Khasi Student Union of Meghalaya today has sent letter to the Senior Director National Testing Agency (NTA) Dr. S.Parashar on the subject of the examination Centre for CSIR, NET 2022
The Education cell of the Khasi Students’ Union Central Executive council through this missive would like to apprise the senior director that, the allocation of Examination Centre for the CSIR, NET 2022 for students from Meghalaya are being allocated to other states of India.
The student are mostly were sent to Tripura, Agartala have shock the aspiring students as the allocated Centre are far from their native town. That as majority of students hail from economically weaker section background.
Thus the difficulty to bear the cost of travel expenses arise leaving the students with no option but to opt out of the exams. That over the years the examination center for the above-mentioned exam have always been Shillong or Guwahati for students from our state.
Therefore as cited in the above mentioned subject, the union humbly request for your kind intervention in the matter and consider shifting, reallocating the examination center for CSIR, NET 2022 for students from Meghalaya state to Shillong or parts of Meghalaya.The letter was sign by the Raymond Kharjana Chairman Education Cells of the Union.
