Shillong, Oct 07: The Monitoring cum Implementation Committee has organized a Pre-Durga, Lakshmi and Kali Puja Get Together of Harmony 2018. The programme was attended by various Puja Committees, Church Committees, Members of Dorbar Shnong, NGO’s under 19th South Shillong Constituency held today at the Community Hall of the Raid Laban Sports Social & Cultural Organisation, Kench’s Trace, Shillong.
In this pre- puja get together a large numbers of public comprises of all Communities and prayer service was performed by Rev Pastor T C Marak, Pandit Hrishikesh Acharjee for Best Wishes and for celebrating the Puja in Peace, Harmony and Joy.
The Function was celebrated by cutting and distribution of Puja Cake the Chief Guest Mr Sanbor Shullai, MLA cum President of the Committee, followed by distribution and handing over of Financial Support including Display Banners and the message of “Wishing all a Happy Peace, Prosperous and Blessed Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja and Deepawali” the money Rs.6,00,00o/- sanction from the discretionary grant.
