The MPYC demanded that the salary of the GHADC employees be released by December

Tura, Nov 13: The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress(MYPC) demands immediate release of pending two year’s salaries of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council employees within first week of December.

The life of the employees has been thrown out of gear by the apathetic attitude, mismanagement and blatant corruption by the NPP led Council and MDA government.

The non-payment of salaries has forced the GHADC employees to lead a life of misery, they struggle to find money for education, healthcare or even day to day expenses.

The attitude of the NPP government is totally insensitive, irresponsible, and their incompetency is exposed. This is inhuman, human rights violations and against the law of the land.

The protest was led by Mr Richard Marak president MYPC  and Mr Stevie Marak MDC to the GHADC. The two leaders of the Congress also said that not fulfillment of their demand will be view seriously.
