Shillong, January 19: The much awaited Torch of the Meghalaya Games 2025 will arrive in Jowai on 20th January 2025, marking the official countdown to the grand sporting event.
The Torch, symbolizing unity, sportsmanship, and the spirit of Meghalaya will be carried to Iungwalieh Lumkyrwiang. It will be ceremoniously placed there and made available for public viewing from 2pm onwards.
This event will offer the residents of Jowai an opportunity to witness and celebrate the pride and enthusiasm surrounding the Meghalaya Games.
The Meghalaya Games 2025 are set to bring together athletes from across the State, competing in multiple disciplines and celebrating the vibrant sporting culture of Meghalaya. The Games aim to inspire the youth and promote sportsmanship, fitness and unity.
