Shillong, oct 26: The regional unit of ADE, Gasuapara was formed in the presence of Mr. Dalseng Bira Ch. Momin, President, Apex Committee, ADE and other delegates from the Apex Committee of ADE on Wednesday at the public meeting held at Gasuapara.
The organization call for the public meeting to inform the people of the area for the need of having the organization in the area to work for the need of the people on various issues affected the residence of Gasuapara and its surrounding region.
The president of ADE Mr Dalseng in the publice meeting said that the objective of the organization is to fight for the genuine issues of the people of Meghalaya from its inception and will continue to pursue its course. ADE strongly feels that the delegation from Gasuapara area has immense potential to collaborate with other regions and address its problems.
Hundreds of people from Gasuapara and surrounding villages gathered enthusiastically for the formation of the ADE Gasuapara Regional Unit. They supported and acknowledged the Democratic way of the formation of the Regional Unit. Senior citizens alongside other dignitaries blessed the newly formed unit through their valuable suggestions.
Mr. Menward D. Sangma and Mr. Callymeccan Ch. Sangma were unanimously chosen for the post of President and General Secretary of the body respectively. Other office bearers were also chosen through proper guidelines of the Association.
