Shillong, Sept 12: The remaining fixtures of the OC Blue Shillong Premier League 2021-22 have been revised slightly by the tournament organisers, the Shillong Sports Association.
What has been a thoroughly exciting league will now conclude on 30 September 2022. All matches will continue to be held at the MFA Turf at Third Ground, Polo, here.
Kick-off has been brought forwards to 3:15pm everyday except for the last match, which will begin at 3pm in order to accommodate the prize distribution ceremony that will follow where Mawlai SC will formally be crowned champions.
The runners-up – contested between Langsning FC and Rangdajied United FC – will also receive their cheque and there will be other prizes distributed as well.
The next match in the OC Blue SPL will take place on Wednesday between fifth-placed Nangkiew Irat SC (16 points) and seventh-placed Malki SC (7). The two sides had met in the first leg on 19 July where Nangkiew were 3-1 victors.
