Shillong, Oct 20: The Police of South Garo Hills District late last night after laying a trap managed to arrest five poacher and from their possession they recover one pangolin which is an endanger spices.
The police will hand over the animals to the official of the Wild life department and the police has investigated on the poaching of this wild endanger animals. The police remain on high alert that this rare animals were smuggle outside the state.
Recently the police of Assam arrested one person with the Pangolin from their position and the smuggler reveal that they have bought the animals from Meghalaya and to be sent to others state outside North east.
