Shillong, July 05: The Shillong Science Centre, Innovation Hub, will be hosting a free three day online workshop on the 7 th , 8 th & 9th July, 2021. The workshops are specifically designed for students from Class 8-12, with special emphasis and priority given to female students.
The Project Coordinator Shillong Science Centre T.W. Kharbuli asked students make sure to join the Facebook group Innovation Hub, Shillong Science Centre to gain access to live updates.
Students has to fill up the form for registration https://forms.gle/iEwbarK2Ts6lnTXf6 during the three day training there will be four session. In the session one will be on the topic, S.T.E.M MAD MATH MATHEMATICS SESSION and the resource person- Abhishek Das, Founder of Mad Math Duration- 3 hours Tentative Date and Time- 7th July 2021; 9:00 am.
In the session two the topic is, INTERNET OF THINGS- GARBAGE MONITORING SYSTEM and the resource person- Rupesh Mandal, Asst Prof., Assam Don Bosco University Duration- 3 hours Tentative Date and Time- 8th July 2021; 4:30 pm.
Session three, the topic, ASTRONOMY Resource person- Rahul Chatterjee, Asst Lecturer, Physics, Shillong Jail Road Boys H.S School Duration- 3 hours Tentative Date and Time- 9th July 2021; 11:00 am.
In the session four the topic, ANDROID APP DEVELOPMENT FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS Resource person- Meubalajied ki wa O Sungoh, College of Engineering Pune Duration- 3 hours Tentative Date and Time- 9th July 2021; 4:30 pm.
The Project Corodinator said that the Zoom link will be given a day prior to the workshop sessions this was stated by T.W. Kharbuli Project Coordinator Shillong Science Centre in the press statement issued today.
