Shillong, May 19: The Director of Health Services Government of Meghalaya Dr. Aman War informed that today the total number of people who were tested COVID-19 positive are 872 and the total active cases are 5769 as of today.
The COVID-19 active cases in the District wise are, East Khasi Hills 3365, West Khasi Hills 172, South West Khasi Hills 37, Ri Bhoi 689, West Jaintia Hills 385, East Jaintia Hills 217, West Garo Hills 461, South West Garo Hills 233, South Garo Hills 63, East Garo Hills 63, North Garo Hills 84.
The number of people who has recovered today are 411 and the total number of person who has recovered as of today are 19596 in the state of Meghalaya.
The Director also informed that today there are 24 new death, in East Khasi Hills 17, East Garo Hills 1, Ri Bhoi 1, West Jaintia Hills 4, East Jaintia Hills 1, the total death in the state has rise up to 379 till today.
