Shillong, August 01: The director of Meghalaya Health Services Dr Aman wat informed that today 33 persons were tested COVID-19 positive and four of them are from Civil hospital Shillong.
The Director said that from 33 person 27 of them are from East Khasi Hills District, from West Garo Hills 1, from Ri Bhoi 3 and 1 from East Jaintia Hills.
The 27 persons who were tested C0VID-19 positive in East Khasi Hills, 3 BSF, 8 from the Arms Forces and 16 are from the public, out of this 7 are returnees, 7 are the high risk contact from civil hospital including 4 employees of Civil Hospital two patients attendance and 2 high risk contact of NEIGRIHMS hospital.
The total active cases in the state are 599 and 252 have recovered. Today 8 have recovered 7 front the BSF and one from the public.
The COVID-19 patients according to the District wise, East Khasi Hill 496, BSF 218, Publice 224,Arms forces 54. West Khasi Hills District 5, Ri Bhoi District 46 ,West Jaintia Hills 14, East jaintia Hills 16, West Garo Hills District 16, South West Garo Hills District 4, South Garo Hills District 2.
Sample collected till today 37,728 out of this 36,341 tested negative results awaited 531 people who enter the state are 24,343 and decease 5.
