To mark 75th year of India’s independence BSF carrying out ‘Bike Rallies’, to inculcate patriotism

Shillong, August 11: As part of the efforts to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ festival successful and memorable, BSF Meghalaya putting all out efforts to motivate citizens to be a part of celebration of the biggest festival of India by hoisting national flag at their houses and workplaces from 13th Aug to 15th Aug 2022.

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence will become symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building.

To create awareness on this initiative, BSF of Meghalaya zealously campaigning in border as well as city areas of state. BSF personnel are carrying out ‘Bike Rallies’, delivering lectures to school students to inculcate patriotism.

The BSF  distributing national flags, placing Banners and hoarding at prominent places. Events conducted are also being posted on social media platforms to attract maximum civilians to be a part of this proud celebration.
