Trap Camera install in Balpakram National Park install by Forest Dept Govt of Meghalaya, destroy

Shillong, June 30: Trap Camera installs by the Forest Department Government of Meghalaya at Balpakram National Park in South Garo Hills District to detect the movement of Animals and the body temperature many were destroyed.

Speaking to SP News Agency Mr Harish Choudhury incharge wild life of the Forest department government of Meghalaya said that he is not aware that Trap Camera install in the Wild Life Sanctuary in Balpakram were destroy but he said that few of them were missing.

The purpose of installing this Trap Camera is to detect the movement of animals in sanctuary and at the same time these camera capture picture of animals and recoded Video and test the body temperature of thus animals in the area.

Mr Choudhury also inform that this camera were kept in few palaces in the remote areas and they were collected between 10 to 15 days to see if there is any movement of animals in the areas where this Trap Camera were install.

On the allegation that Trap Camera were destroy, Mr Choudhury said that he will find out if that was true, but he said that few of Trap Camera were lost. Balpakram National Park located in South Garo Hills District border South West Khasi Hills District.
