Shillong, Oct 16: Two police officers were seriously injured in the group clash at Natiang Temple at midnight, and many others received minor injured in the incident last night. The cause of the groups clashed, because the headman brought the pandit which the people did not accept.
The information received by the SP News Agency said that the groups clash occurred at midnight, the police who were posted in the Nartiang Temple of West Jiantia Hills District in order to disperse the crowd from the area use lathi charge and in this incident two police officers were seriously injured.
These two police officers were taken to Woodland Hospital Shillong for treatment. In the incident many police personals were injured and also many public were also received minor injury in the incident.
