Shillong, May 18: For the first time in Meghalaya, the Odisha chapter of Research of Adult and Children Education (RACE) organised it’s 12th National level competition 2014 in collaboration with Army Public School (APS) Happy Valley 58 GTC.
Namita Goswami Thakur Principal, APS 58 GTC, informed that besides the students of APS Happy Valley 58 GTC, KV Happy Valley and St Mary’s High School Shillong, students of Martin Luther Christian University Shillong a total of 40 selected students from various schools of Orissa, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh also participated in the various literary and cultural competitions including debates, essay writing, quiz, solo song, solo dance, painting.
Variety show depicting the culture of north east with the title “rhythms of north east”, was also organized.(SP News)
