Shillong, March 27: The second round training for polling officials of East Khasi Hills District conducted by the District Election Officer, Shillong has started from 27th March 2014 at St Anthony’s College, Shillong. More than three thousand officials will attend the three days training for imparting on the role play assignments of the Presiding Officers, First and Second polling officials.
During the training all the officials were imparted with proper instruction to perform their duties efficiently, they were also given instruction to fill up the dummy forms as well so as to make sure that they don’t commit any mistake during election.
A separate “Hands on” training on the EVMs was also given to the Polling Officials and a movie on the election process was also shown for their better understanding.(SP News)
