Shillong Dec 14: Aiming at spreading awareness amongst the people especially the youth on the importance of voluntary blood donation, the Bouncers Association of Meghalaya (BAM) in collaboration with the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society (MACS) organized a ‘Blood Donation Camp’ at Step by Step school on Friday.
Talking to reporters, President of BAM, Junestar Kharbuli said that the reason why the association is organizing the camp is to create awareness among the people regarding the importance of blood donation.
“We want to provide inspiration and encourage the students to donate blood,” Kharbuli said. Altogether 30 people donated their blood at the blood donation camp. (SP News)
