Shillong, March 30: A 5 year old girl was raped by a 22 years daily labourer Ratal Hajong in Baidrepere vilage, under ampati, West Garo Hills on Thursday evening.
Police sources informed that the incident occured on Thursday night in between 7pm to 8pm.
Ampati, Superientendent of Police, Muthu also informed that the girls parents had filed an FIR.
“ The parents of the girl filed the FIR and we swung into action, however the accussed is still at large,’ informed Muthu.
He also informed that investigation on the case is still going on.
The girl is currently undergoing treatment at Tura Civil Hospital.(SP News)
