Shillong, August 20: A window of opportunity has opened for the youths of Meghalaya who have a flair for flying with the proposed International Cabin Crew Recruitment Drive by Air Asia, a Malaysian Airlines that will be held on the 24th of August, 2013 in the city.
This recruitment drive is being conducted in collaboration with Jettwings, Shillong.In a press conference held today at the premises of Jettwings, Shillong Laitumkhrah, its chairman Sanjay Aditya Singh said, “This is a huge step in the growth of aviation industry of North East and we hope to build strong ties between Northeast India and South East Asia.”
Sanjeev Medhi, the HR Manager of Jettwings stated, “We encourage everyone to be part of this recruitment drive as it is an opportunity for the youth to explore this emerging sector and to get selected as part of the international cabin crew team.”
The eligibility criteria for candidates are fluency (oral & written) in Hindi and English, 10 +2 passed, and must be of 160 cm minimum and 170 cm minimum for boys and girls respectively.(SP News)
