AAP brought Meghalaya under its ambit. Agnes joins AAP

Shillong, Jan 23: After capturing the attention of the leadership in Delhi, the Aam Admi party aims to float its power towards North east as well.

Kejriwal party today floated its preparatory body in Shillong. The party is looking forward to have a candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and began its preparation in the pine city.

The preparatory body aims at forming the state committee following which this preparatory body automatically will be dissolve.

The AAP has appointed CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing as one of the three state coordinators along with twelve other members for enrolment drive in all the districts of the state.

The body will look forward to the AAP activities in Meghalaya.

Speaking to reporters, AAP national executive member( in-charge of North Eastern states camp) Habung Payeng said ӗe have constituted the preparatory committee in the state in order to organize the district committees of AAP in Meghalaya.

Payeng informed that based on the formation of the district committees, the AAP will decide whether to put up candidates for the Lok Sabha elections for the  Shillong and Tura parliamentary seats.

Since morning, several enthusiastic people were seen attended the meeting wearing customary AAP cap to symbolise their presence for the constitution of Aam admiⳠparty in the state. The common man party has brought in a major havoc among the political circle in the country with a massive victory in Delhi election.

Payeng also highlited the ideology of AAP, saying the party has created a revolution and is a different from the others which he hopes will get a positive response from the people.(SP News)
