Shillong November 26: The State Police Department have announced that the recruitment process of the various post under the Armed Branch, the Unarmed Branch and followers have been conducted under the new guidelines known as transparency in recruitment process. The recruitment process of the various posts started at Ist MLP Mawiong and at 2nd MLP Goeragre in Tura on Monday.
Giving clear cut information on the recruitment process Additional DGP, BL Buam informed that the first phase of recruitment for the post of constable both UB and AB and also followers in the two recruitment centres one at Ist MLP Mawiong and at 2nd MLP Goeragre in Tura. the first phase includes
of the recruitment process includes mesurement of height and 10 Kilometer race for male and 5.5 kilometers race for female. Besides, Buam also mentioned that through the new technology the department would be able to give the results and performance of the runners as soon as each group could complete its race be it male or female be it or UB constables or for AB and followers.
Meanwhile, Buam also informed that all female candiates who have applied for followers post they may report to Mawiong or Georegre as the case may be and we will take them for the race and other processes because there was a misunderstanding about this aspect.(SP News)
