Shillong, April 07: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) after changing the Chief Executive Member of Jaintia Hills their eyes turn to Garo Hills Autonomous District Council asking the CEM Mr Akphones A Sangma to step down and let the present Chairman of the the GHADC take over as the CEM.
The Chief Adviser of the MPCC in-charge Garo hills Mr SC Marak while replying to quires asked by the SP News Agency said that “ That particular question should asked Mr DD Lapang, or Smti Deboara Marak” but he neither denied or confirm it.
When tried to contact the working president Smti Debora Marak but could not get the reply though her mobile is ringing, But closed to Congress it was told that the request has been made but till date no repone has been shown from the CEM of the GHADC.(SP News)
