Shillong, May 19: Havildar Anish Thapa of 58 GTC has once again brought glory to the 58 GTC as also to the state of Meghalaya by coming at second position in Indian runners category in the TCS World 10K held at Bengaluru on 18 May 2014, and was awarded Rs 1.5 lakhs cash prize. Havildar Anish Thapa is a promising long distance runner from 58 GTC who has been bringing laurels in various national and international events. He was also amongst the top Cross Country runners in the last national championship held at Siliguri (WB) in Dec 2013.(SP News)
