Khliehrait May 22: The Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress, observed the 22nd death Anniversary of (L) Rajiv Gandhi on the 21st May, at Khliehriat East Jiantia Hills District.
The State President, Smt. Ebel. M. War, the State Office Bearers along with the District President and office bearers, Khliehriat BCC President, Youth President and other members were present to commemorate the death Anniversary of (L) Rajiv Gandhi.
The meeting was chaired by the Jaintia District President Smt. Peeina Shylla, the State President Smt. Ebel M. War, BCC President, Dr. Pher Nongtdu, Smt. Milian Ryngkhlan, Shri. Iasyllok Lyngdoh, Youth President and Shri. Balias Swer gave their own respective speech.
This day was observed as Anti- Terrorism Day Awareness, programme was held against the rising of crime in the city.(SP News)
