Shillong, Feb 03: The ANVC Breakaway faction in an email statement said that it has submitted the lists of cadres and arms to the Government through a letter addressed to ADG Special Branch, dated 25th January 2014.
Stating that the name of 151 cadres has been submitted to the Government as agreed by ANVC.B leader in the last tripartite meeting at Shillong, the outfit said that they awaits Government’s decision for the relocation and rehabilitation of its cadres.
A press statement sent by ANVC B leader Doang D Shira states that the Government has assured to provide a liaison office and designated camps for the ANVC.B cadres.
“We feel Government must work out formalities at the earliest to rehabilitate ANVC.B cadres as they are scattered and displaced and stranding them further will only frustrate them. We do not want anything to happen when everything is moving towards settlement,” the statement said.(SP News)
