Shillong, May 23: The local MLA from Mylliem Constituency Mr RV Lyngdoh said that any construction that may take place around Shyllong Peak point I will oppsed.
Speaking to SP News Agency the MLA from Mylliem said that, the shyllong peak point is the catchment area where the sources of water for the Greater Shillong Water Supply Schemes . Any structure that may come out in and around the area he will opposed.
While answer to quires about that area he said till today no social organization has come to him in writing about the conflict that arises who is the owner of that area.
As the local MLA he is not concern who owns the area but his concern is about the water sources. That area should be protected; any body who own that area should not construct any thing.(SP News)
