Shillong October 30: On the 28th of this month after receiving , on specific input, BSF troops of BOP Dulainalah Ex-44 Bn deployed in East Khasi Hills distt of Meghalaya apprehended two Indian Arms smugglers, identified as Oleshwae Hojan from the village Chanditola and Champial S Marak from village Dulainala, under Mawsynram police station of the East Khasi Hills District.
The BSF nabbed these two smugglers, near BP No 1214/2-s while they were trying to exfiltrate into Bangladesh. During preliminary interrogation, the apprehended smugglers revealed that at the time of apprehension, one more smuggler, i.e. King Pin was also there but he managed to flee away from the spot towards Indian Territory.
From these two person the BSF got an information that Subsequently lead to the arrest of Shri Bresh Marak know as Rawan (37 yrs) from Marhali village which falls under Dangar police station of East Khasi Hills Dustrict.
From the house of Bresh Marak they also seized,Revolver,Live Rds, Wire cutter ,Tester , Watch , Mobiles three indian and one Bangladesh sim cards and Indian currency of rupees 1575.
