Shillong July 9: The Office of the Director Recruiting (Army), Shillong has informed that the recruitment rally for all eleven districts of Meghalaya and three districts of Assam i.e. Morigaon, Nagaon and Sonitpur for the post of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman, Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerks/Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant will be held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Shillong from 20th to 28th July 2013 and the reporting time is 5.A.M at Polo Ground No.5.
The date for recruitment rally for the post of Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman for East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills & Ri-Bhoi will be held on 20th July, 2013, for West Jaintia Hills, East Jaintia Hills, East Garo Hills, West Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, South Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills will be held on 21st July, 2013, for Sonitpur & Morigaon District will be held on 22nd July, 2013 and for Nagaon District will be held on 23rd July, 2013.
For the post of Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerks/Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant for all states of North East Region will be held on 24th July, 2013. Aptitude test for selected candidates will be held on 25th July, 2013, Medical examination will be held from 21st to 26th July, 2013 and the written test of selected candidates of Meghalaya will be conducted at Army Public School, Shillong on 28th July, 2013.
Minimum education qualification for Soldier General Duty for Tribal is Class VIII, for Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper Technical is Class X. For Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant is 10+2 in Science Stream.
