Shillong, January 09: Today after getting specific input, BSF troops of BOP Namchapara Ex-132 Bn deployed in South Garo Hills distt. of Meghalaya apprehended Five Bangladeshi smugglers namely Amross, aged 20 yrs s/o Udesh P. Sangma, Baham Chiran (46 yrs) s/o Kanti Ronkdhi, Firos Sangma (40 yrs) s/o Pralabh Marak, Niran Marak (38 yrs) s/o Nirtop and Oliyatozoo Sangma (40 yrs) s/o Rozen Marak all are r/o Vill-Namchapara, Ps- Dobura, Distt- Mymensingh (BD)while they were trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh near BP No. 1131/2-s. During the search, party recovered 02 Mobile with 02 BD Sim, Indian Currency Rs 12,440/- and other Misc items(including garments, eatable items and crockery) worth Rs 35,300/- from their possession.(SP News)
