Shillong, April: On 6th April 2013, on specific input regarding smuggling of motorcycle, BSF troops of BOP Chichingpara ex-114 Bn deployed in West Garo Hills distt of Meghalaya launched a spl operation and seized one new Bajaj Discover motorcycle 125 CC Chassis No. mdzdszzzuwm 49648, Engine No. Juzmbum 98706 without registration number worth approx. value Rs. 50,000/- near BP No 1109/6-S while it was being smuggled to Bangladesh.
The seized items have been handed over to the concerned Department for further disposal.(SP News)
