Both the Government and the NGO should soften their stand on influx: Toki

Shillong, Oct 21: All the speaker who participate at the public rally held today at Police Bazar organized by ICARE express their anguished about the frequent bandh that the state have experiences in the last few month.

This stand off between the government and the NGO on the influx issued should end and the government should soften the stand and the NGO also. There should be a dialogue so that this issued should be solved. When it come to influx which every one is concern about it.

The president of the ICARE in his speech he said that neither the ILP will solve the problem nor the Tenancy Act what the government claim. The government should soften the stand and from the NGO also. To do this it need dialogue and discussion. Confrontation will not bring solution.

The suggestion made by the militant outfit the HNLC on corruption the president of the ICARE said that the organization welcome the suggestion. To combat against the corruption Blah said that, this has to stop from the root, and that people should not accept money during election if people stop taking money during election corruption will come to and end.

In this public rally different speaker have express their own opinion on different issued but they come to one conclusion that the government and the NGO should rethink  and let them come to the negotiation table to solved the issued  because bandh it only hamper the weaker section of the society.(SP News)
