Shillong, July 10: The BSF who where posted at Umsyiem apprehended two Bangladeshi female and one Indian male as they were trying to infiltrate into India territory.
The apprehended person know as Rina Devi 50 years and her daughter Loywin, they are from Kamalganj District of Molvibazar, Bangladesh along with them one Indian person known as Denis Thava from Kongwang Village East Khasi Hills under Pynursla Block was arrested.
In another incident the, BSF troops of BOP Barsora ex-73 Bn deployed in South West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya launched a special operation along with police and apprehended one Bangladeshi Liquor smuggler near BP No 1199/1-S while he was exfiltrating into Bangladesh from India.
During search party recovered 80 Nos Liquor Btls, Indian Currency – 6,710/-, Bangladeshi Taka 10/- and one mobile with one Bangladeshi SIM from his possession.(SP News)
