BSF Organised free medical camp at Dawki

Shillong, Nov 28: A free medical camp was organized at village Dawki on Indo-Bangladesh border in the AOR of Ex-108 Bn BSF, deployed in East Khasi Hills District  of Meghalaya.

The basic aim of the medical camp is to benefit the under privileged people of border areas. Total 225 civilians i.e. male, female and children from border villages Dawki, Baakur, Lamin and other villages, were examined and given medicine in this camp by BSF doctors. The camp was inaugurated by Commandant 108 Bn BSF Sh. D. S Bisht at 1000 Hrs which terminated at 1500 hrs.

Border Security Force is not only guarding the borders of our country, but also putting efforts to make the life of border population comfortable, happier, healthy and disease free. In the past also, BSF has been conducting various medical camps and blood donation camps for population of state.(SP News)
