Shillogn,Oct, 10:Border Security Force’s (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier organize time to time free medical camp to help the children in rectification of Cleft Lip .recently a free surgical rectification was organized by Border Security Force in association of Smile Train & Rotary Club of Calcutta Victoria.
The noble project named ‘Darpan’ was initially launched on 31st January 2013 at Kolkata by the BSF Director General, Shri Subhash Joshi, IPS.
In above camp 5 surgery of Cleft Lip have been done. All such surgeries patients are released 2-3 days after the surgery. As and when more cases are identified, they are rectified fully free of cost since this is a continuing program.
In the continuation of above program, BSF again going to conduct a free medical camp in Nov’2013 to help the children who are facing Cleft Lip.(SP New)
