Shillong, Nov 11: Bull fight in the Khasi Hills region is ancient sp
ort among the Khasi. The bull fight was held at the Village Marpna in West Khasi Hills District were thousand of people witness the fight.
The fight was between the one from the village Wahlulu and the othrs one was from the village Thynroit. The fight between these to animals lasted more then 10 minit which have cheer the people who went to see the bull fight.
Most of the bull fight were held when there is a fete in the village, the bull fight was mainly organized to raise found for the village or club. These type of bull fight was held in different part of Khasi Hills region during winter.(SP News)
