Shillong, May 19: The Director, Gagan Jain claim that Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and claim that all the necessary document is available to proof it.Students taking admission in the centre should not have any doubt on it.
The Director Mr Jain speaking to SP News Agency Said that the Sikkim Manipal University Shillong is one of the centre which affiliated to the Sikkim Manipal University at Gantok where the Governor of Skkim is the Chancellor.
Many student who have pass from the SMU Shillong got government job, they have the record in the University. The certificate issue to student is done from Sikkim Manipal University Gantok since the learning centre in Shillong is affiliated to if.
Mr Jain said that they are not issuing certificate in their own and they cannot do that, the learning centre in Shillong is like others colleges who affiliated to NEHU. Like wise the SMU Shillong Centre is affiliated to the SMU in Sikkim.(SP News)
