Shillong June 24: The Chief Secretary level meeting to discuss on the boundary issue which is schedule for today has to be postponed as the chief secretary of Assam has to leave Shillong due to an emergency work in Assam.
The Chief Secretary of Assam Nobo Kumar Das after coming up from the chief secretary room of Meghalaya told media that in the meeting they have not discuss the boundary issue but they could only discuss the matter related to the joint cadres of the two state.
The Chief Secretary of Meghalaya Mr WMS Pariat speaking to media person said that the meeting to discuss the boundary problems of the two state was schedule for today but due to an emergency work in the capital of Assam his counterpart has to leave for Dispur.
In the meeting today they could only discuss the Joint Cadres of the two state which is a routine matter which they used to held once in a year. Regarding the inter state boundary will be discuss in the next few days he aid. (SP News)
