Jowai, Feb 7: The yearlong celebration of the 125 Anniversary of the Unitarian Church will draw to a close on February 9 at the Tympang playground Iawmusiang, Jowai. eat Britain in the presence of Rev. Gary Smith, Rev. John Gibbons, Rev David Gyero and Rev. Brian Kiely leaders of Unitarian and Universalist Churches from the USA, Romania and Canada.
The celebration also culminate with the 113 annual conference of the Unitarian Union North East India and congregants from Khasi Jaintia and Karbi Anglong are expect to join in the gathering in the conference which started from the 8 till the 10 of February. On the evening of the 10 February there will be a torch procession hundreds and thousands are expected to join in the march.(SP News)
