Shillong, Feb 11: The National Political party, the Indian National Congress here in the state while releasing their election manifesto o Monday claimed that it can bring in a stable government.
Besides, in manifesto it was also mentioned that if the party once again come into power it will also focus on bring in accountability in Governance, the party has ensure to pass a public service delivery act that will ensure that public servant deliver improved services.
It was also pledge in its manifesto that the party will try to create two more districts and four new Community and Rural Development blocks.
Referring to effective and accountable administration of Autonomous district counci, the Congress in its manifesto claimed to constitute a separate commission that will ensure effective adminstration of the District Councils.
If come to power, Congress assures to introduce effective new law for social audits of all government programmes.
Meanwhile, seeing the fact that unemployment is a major factor in the election, for youth the Congress party has announced to provide new job opportunities in Government sector and in private sector. The party has given space to women in the state in its manifesto as it touch few key factors related to women. (SP News)
