Shillong, May 12: Shri Shikha Das and twenty-four others jointly lodged an FIR (May 10) at Shillong Sadar Police Station that two agents of an Insurance company styled as Cosmic Negotiators Ltd., Subeata Kumar Das and A.K Mitra, collected insurance premium amounting to Rs. 10,31,428/- from the complainants and failed to pay the maturity amount. Later, they found that the office of the company at M.G Building, GS Road, Shillong was closed.
On May 11 around 5.30 pm, Police seized, sixty-three Spasmo Proxyvon capsules, Sixty-nine Nitroson-10 tablets, two tubes of dendrite and pinches of Heroin in three pieces of paper from the residence of one Marshall Lyngdoh at Lumshyiap, Nongmynsong, Shillong. Police arrested the accused.(SP News)
