SHILLONG: The CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing file an FIR on behalf of the rape victim against the stepfather of a girls who was allegedly raping her at Mairang, the fir was file on Saturday.
The CSWO president said that there is no woman police personnel in Mairang police station and the victim had to wait for so long and the help was sought from the local women to take her to the CHC.
Kharshiing alleged that the mother of the victim was trying to shy away as she wanted to help her husband.
Kharshiing said that when she went to Mairang, it was leant that the relatives were informed that no medical test can be done at the CHC without the mother.(SP News)
