CSWO want the inquiry to the jailbreak inquiry be made public

 

Shillong, June 24: The Civil Society Women’s Organization (CSWO) today sent a letter to the chief secretary Mr WMS Pariat asking him to make the inquiry report of (L) Justice Rajkhowa that he has submitted to the government on the month of January this year be made public.

In the letter the CSWO president Mrs Agnes Kharshiing said that the election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly is over and the Assembly has already sit. The CSWO said that the inquiry report on the Jail break and the encounter should be make public.

The CSWO in the letter sent to the chief secretary allege that the delay in making public the report the government is trying to shield the perpetrators. The CSWO urged the chief secretary to immediately made public the report  and desist from being politically motivated. (SP News)
