Shillong, May 12: The headman of the Dawki Village Mr Mi Ryngksai said that Dawki village has rejected the Meghalaya Health Insurance Scheme because there is no clarity on it. All the names and head of the family in their data is wrong, said Mr Ryngksai.
The Government should clarify on the issue. The letters sent to the headman of the Dawki village has address as Panchayat, this is not only to dawki bat to all villages under the Amlarem Civil Sub Division which they have mention “Amlarem Panchayat”.
Mr Ryngksai said that they donot reject the scheme but the system that they use to fool people in the name of MHIS. What he knows is that there is no pynchayat in Meghalaya, there are headman in different villages.
The headman of Dawki question the data who prepare it with wrong information, the people should not be fool by the sum of Rs.1,60000 lakh but they should see the motive behind of this scheme.
The SDO of the Amlarem Civil Sub Division told SP News Agency said that he is not aware about panchayat in the civil sub division. As the head of the division what he know is the Headman or the rangbah shnong.(SP News)
