Mawkyrwat, May 03: The Superintendent of Police South West Khasi Hills District said that from the vehicles of Lamphrang Kharbani which the police have intercept at Rangthong Village south of Mawkyrwat they have recover demand note of the band militant out fit the HNLC.
The Superintendent of police of the South West Khasi Hills said that along with him they have also detain Maitar Marwein exporter and from him they have recover a sum of Rs. 2.5 lahks.
The others person which the police detain is Synshar Thongni former HNLC members who has surrender and Briang Tonhwah former HNLC. All of them they were coming from shillong going towards Borsora.
The special operation team (SOT) were coming from Shillong and the police of the South West Khasi Hills District went along with them to assist the police team coming from Shillong. (SP News)
