Shillong, May 21: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District and ChairmanDistrict Monitoring Committee for enforcement of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation)Act, 1995.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that to enable the public to lodge complaint regarding Content aired over cable television and to ensure that no unauthorized or pirated channels are carned and local newsaired by the cable television operator is restricted to information about local events and is
presented in a manner which is balanced impartial and not likely to offend or incite anycommunity.
The District Monitoring Committee for enforcement of cable television (regulation)Act 1995 has recommended that all such complaint can be lodged to the Assistant Director of
